Owner Billy Pope pulls a cold one for a lucky patron at The Remedy Cafe on Spring St

When I leased 162 C Spring St two years ago to Tabula Rasa Salon owner Melissa Pope, we never could have imagined the cool “cure what ails ya” cafe that it would become.  Melissa’s need to move to a larger location at 125 Cannon made room for her brother Billy, a respected local catering chef, to see his dream come true. A few months later he opened The Remedy market, where he and his fiance Adelaine serve up some of his specialty house made healty delicacies.  So far I have tried the house made veggie burger, yum, the turkey and avocado wrap, double yum, and the curry chicken salad, triple yum!  Check out the Remedy on line by clicking: gourmet food downtown Charleston sc.
